Now and Then
Jeff began his journey at PAVE Academy in Kindergarten in 2011, where he thrived both academically and in extracurriculars, traveling with the chess team in elementary school and playing varsity basketball in middle school. Graduating from PAVE in 2020, he continued his growth at Cristo Rey High School. Now a student at Albright College in Pennsylvania, Jeff is shaping his future, driven by the hard work, perseverance, and passion that PAVE instilled in him.
"Growing up at PAVE Academy, I now fully appreciate how it shaped me into the person I am today. The supportive teachers and welcoming community helped instill strong character and a dedicated work ethic—skills I continue to cherish. Now, as a college freshman, the lessons I learned at PAVE remain a guiding force, helping me navigate new challenges with confidence. I am deeply grateful for the memories and foundation PAVE has given me."
On Thursday night, PAVE Academy was host to the @jpafamilyhealth `s Women`s History Month Event: Leading With Purpose: A Women in Leadership Symposium.
During this evening, our Executive Director, Dr. Marsha Gadsen was part of a panel of powerful Women leaders that convened to empower, inspire and transform attendees. The panel also included Renee Hastick-Motes, Chief Executive Officer at the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center and Tiffiney Davis, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Red Hook Art Project, Inc., both places we consider partners in our work to serve and uplift Red Hook.
El jueves por la noche, PAVE Academy fue la sede del evento del Mes de la Historia de la Mujer del Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, titulado: *Liderando con propósito: Un simposio sobre mujeres en el liderazgo*.

Mission: Escape the Principal’s Office 🕵️♀️🔐 Our 2nd graders teamed up, cracked the codes, and followed the clues like pros. So much thinking, teamwork, and excitement packed into one classroom adventure.
