Now and Then
Jeff began his journey at PAVE Academy in Kindergarten in 2011, where he thrived both academically and in extracurriculars, traveling with the chess team in elementary school and playing varsity basketball in middle school. Graduating from PAVE in 2020, he continued his growth at Cristo Rey High School. Now a student at Albright College in Pennsylvania, Jeff is shaping his future, driven by the hard work, perseverance, and passion that PAVE instilled in him.
"Growing up at PAVE Academy, I now fully appreciate how it shaped me into the person I am today. The supportive teachers and welcoming community helped instill strong character and a dedicated work ethic—skills I continue to cherish. Now, as a college freshman, the lessons I learned at PAVE remain a guiding force, helping me navigate new challenges with confidence. I am deeply grateful for the memories and foundation PAVE has given me."

Our 4th Grade Scholars just took their annual “Senior” trip to Washington DC.
Our scholars were kindly hosted at @episcopalhs. Even though our scholars will start Middle School in September, it is never too early to start thinking about their future. That’s why during their trip, they visited @howard1867 and @georgetownuniversity. There, they got to tour the schools, and get some behind the scenes look at the athletic departments.

Fueron amablemente recibidos en @episcopalhs. Aunque comenzarán la escuela intermedia en septiembre, nunca es demasiado pronto para empezar a pensar en su futuro; por eso, durante el viaje, visitaron @howard1867 y @georgetownuniversity. Allí tuvieron la oportunidad de recorrer las instalaciones y conocer de cerca el funcionamiento de los departamentos de deportes.

Our End of Year Showcase theme was Art Through the Ages. The show transported us through time and space to experience the art and joy BIPOC people have been creating forever. Join us as we travel across time and enjoy these wonderful performances.

At PAVE Academy’s Annual Science Fair all the Middle School scholars showed up and showed out with their many projects. Some explored everyday problems and others chose to dive into ancient machines. The winner taught us all about the heart. The day was full of fun and learning. Even our teachers left the gym turned exploration center with new knowledge.
En la Feria Anual de Ciencias de PAVE Academy, todos los estudiantes de secundaria se presentaron y lucieron con sus numerosos proyectos. Algunos exploraron problemas cotidianos, mientras que otros optaron por adentrarse en el mundo de las máquinas antiguas. El ganador nos enseñó todo lo relacionado con el corazón. La jornada estuvo repleta de diversión y aprendizaje; incluso nuestros maestros salieron del gimnasio —transformado en un centro de exploración— con nuevos conocimientos.
