The Department of Education’s Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT) provides transportation for eligible PAVE students by yellow school bus or public transportation (OMNY Card for subway or city bus). Eligibility is determined by the Department of Education. To find out if your child is eligible, please click HERE. Currently, PAVE’s buses go to and from Sunset Park, Gowanus, and Crown Heights.
All students are required to adhere to PAVE’s uniform policies each day. The elementary and middle schools have separate uniforms.
PAVE offers high-quality after-school programming for students in grades K-8, providing a well-rounded mix of academic support and extracurricular activities. The program runs Monday through Thursday from 4:00-6:00 pm and on Fridays from 12:30-3:30 pm. Students can access homework help and participate in a variety of exciting activities such as athletics (basketball, cheerleading, soccer, and flag football), debate team, fencing, journalism, art, robotics, performing arts, dance, and STEP. PAVE’s goal is to create a dynamic, supportive environment where students can grow and explore their passions.
